Three Minute Thesis (3MT)

Three minutes may not seem like much time to explain an 80,000 word PhD thesis that has taken years to research and develop, but that’s exactly what is required of PhD candidates competing in the Three Minute Thesis.
in the developing country its valuable for the manya stake holder. For researchers applying for funding from government and industry, the ability to present a concise argument justifying the cost and demonstrating the impact that the research will have, to an audience who do not have specialist knowledge, is invaluable.
Developed by UQ, 3MT is a research communication competition that challenges PhD students to communicate the significance of their projects without the use of props or industry jargon, in just three minutes. The exercise develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to quickly explain their research in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience leaving them wanting to know more. Now, threesis come acros the world, it popular even in Indonesia. this is the example of threesis in many contest.
